Cracker Smack - Peppercorn
Five different peppercorns go into this blend, and that combination is exactly what makes Cracker Smack Peppercorn so difficult to walk away from. Delicious and genuinely addictive, in the way sharp things usually are.
Absolutely no baking involved. The package contains our natural-ingredient spice blend and a mixing bag. You add 1 1/4 cups of a lightly flavored oil and two boxes of Nabisco Mini Premiums, shake it well, then let the bag sit flat on your counter for six to eight hours. Airtight container after that, and they will keep happily.
The finished crackers do double duty. Crunch them over soups, chowders and chili, use them instead of croutons on a salad, or crush them as a coating for chicken.
A great gift for a whiskey drinker at Christmas or a Father's Day basket! Pairs especially well with a strong, aged cheddar on the board. Not remotely shy, and not trying to be.
