Cracker Smack - Rustic Pesto
Parsley, spinach, parmesan cheese, garlic and salt. That is the whole cast, and together they make Cracker Smack Rustic Pesto both delicious and genuinely addictive.
The method could not be simpler, and your oven stays off the entire time. Inside the package you get our unique spice blend and a mixing bag; you contribute 1 1/4 cups of a lightly flavored oil and two boxes of Nabisco Mini Premiums. Shake it all together, lay the bag flat on the counter, and wait six to eight hours. Then transfer to an airtight container.
Herby and green, these are the crackers to reach for when a soup needs something on top. They also work crushed over chowders and chili, or across a salad where croutons would go.
A great gift for a garden-loving friend or a spring hostess! Set them out with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes and call it lunch. Summer on a cracker, essentially.
