White and gold is the combination that goes with everything already in the closet, which is why this bow claw clip gets picked up more often than the more interesting colors do.

It is made from cellulose acetate on a metal base. That matters more than it sounds: acetate comes mostly from wood pulp, so it is biodegradable, and it is naturally anti-static, which means no flyaways lifting off the top of your head the moment you clip it in. It is also flexible enough to take real volume without the spring giving out.

Because the material is natural, the color and pattern vary slightly from clip to clip. Yours will not be identical to the photograph, and that is the point.
